vLetter Cass Font — FREE!
This font was developed by Maggie D., one of our font designers, to honor the handwriting of her grandmother Cassandra. Cassandra Goter was one of the few women who homesteaded in Florida. In 1899, she was single with a new baby (Maggie’s mother) and (as you can imagine) quite the object of discussion. Cassandra ended up marrying a cook on the railroad being built through her parcel of land. She did not allow the talk of the town to derail her dreams of having a family. Cassandra was soon on track to be one of the most prosperous women in North Weeki Wachee.
