vLetter Fred Font — FREE!
This font was named in honor of Fred, the name of the first on-air automation system I ran at KYTE in Portland back in the late 80’s.
All the Jocks laughed, said it would never sound as good as a real person, and that on-air automation would never work.
By the time I left in the early 90’s Fred (and I) were responsible for 3 of the 6 Day-Parts…
Fred was named from an old military acronym for F’ing Ridiculous Electronic Device.
