This is the real handwriting font of Boris Fvodorov of Solnechnogorsk, Russia. The ruble is the currency unit of Russia and as of 2014, the value of the ruble has been steadily dropping against the US dollar. Boris used this font on his website where he was trading rubles for bitcoins (we required payment in US $’s). Starting in 2014, many wealthy Russians converted rubles to bitcoins. Unfortunately, in late 2015, Putin came down hard on ruble/bitcoin conversions and Boris shut down his website and hasn’t been heard of since. Well, probably. We recently had a request for this font from someone in Hoboken, New Jersey. We owe our customers their anonymity, so we decided to publish this font so many people can use it. Trust us, you can safely use this font.
