The Arbes font was developed for the Arbes Restaurant menu and signage located in Olhão da Restauração, Portugal. The handwriting is that of Zeferino Albuquerque who was the owner of the only Arby’s restaurant in Portugal. In 1997, Arby’s unexpectedly pulled his franchise. Enraged, Zeferino changed the name of his restaurant to Arbes and has achieved even more succcess!
