This font was inspired by the handwriting of the legendary actor and director Orson Welles. This font was developed from a purloined copy of the original script of “Citizen Kane”. Trevor, one of our top font designers, readily took on this project as he is a huge fan of Orson. Apparently, his grandmother Maude was almost conceived on October 30, 1938. It was during some friskiness by his great-grandparents that Orson’s “War of the Worlds” was broadcast. As you might understand, she wasn’t conceived THAT night! The next night after everyone had calmed down, his great-grandparents once again got frisky and Maude was conceived.
