vLetter Andy Font — FREE!
This handwriting font was inspired by the handwriting of Andy Kaufman, groundbreaking comedian who tragically died at 35 of a rare form of lung cancer. Kaufman was best known for his portrayal of Latka Gravas on the sitcom Taxi. In 1979, Kaufman made a now-famous appearance in a show at Carnegie Hall, after which he arranged for the entire audience of 2,800 people to be bussed to a Manhattan café for milk and cookies. At an improv club, he once read F. Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gatsby aloud until his entire audience walked out. One of our founders was forever in awe of Kaufman’s 4F draft status in 1967 (psychologically unbalanced) and remains a fan today.
