No, “humbug” has nothing to do with this handwriting font. BAH is the U.S. military Basic Allowance for Housing. The intent of BAH is to provide uniformed servicemembers housing compensation based on housing costs in local civilian housing markets and is implemented when government quarters are not provided. One of our font designer’s uncles is in the Air Force and has had a longstanding dispute with DoD over their small annual increases. Maybe his handwriting font is a “bah humbug” kind of font afterall.
