vLetter Cowboybill Font — FREE!
This is the handwriting font of Bill Clausen of Ropesville, Texas. Bill was the undisputed calf roping champion from 1998 – 2002. Arturo (one of our font designers) is a fan of rodeo and wanted to acknowledge Bill’s work. Although sometime considered abusive of the calves, statistically, the rate of injury to the animals is relatively low. In 1994, a survey of 28 sanctioned rodeos was conducted by on-site independent veterinarians. Reviewing 33,991 animal runs, the injury rate was documented at .047%, or less than five-hundredths of one percent. However, tie-down calf roping is not permitted in the state of Rhode Island or in the city of Baltimore. So, be careful where you rope your calves and remember, they may grow up to be bulls and they WILL remember you!!
