vLetter Dado Font — FREE!
This font was developed in honor of Hector Morehead of Mantoloking, New Jersey, who in 1793, developed the famous “dado” groove in wood panels destined for assembly into furniture. Creating his groove required him to invent a system of blades to form the groove and gained him a reputation for being a “cut above” his fellow craftsmen. His great, great, grandson Mortise financially supported this effort.
