The handwriting of William Thomson Kelvin, British mathematician and physicist, inspired this font. One of our font designers, Maggie D., had an early crush on a classmate named Ricky Kelvin. While Ricky was away at band camp, Maggie learned all about the brilliant Lord Kelvin. In 1900 Kelvin stated, “There is nothing new to be discovered in physics now. All that remains is more and more precise measurement.” Well, he was still brilliant – for his time. If you’re “warming” up to this font, keep in mind that others may throw “cold” water on the idea of using it. However, after they see the font and use it, they may do a “180” and actually like it!”
