vLetter Dells Font — FREE!
This handwriting font commemorates the ’50’s R&B and do wop group the Dells (not to be confused with Archie Bell & the Drells – another R&B group). One of our font designers, Maggie D. remembered that her grandmother, Phyllis used to play music by the Dells. Maggie had to ask her grandmother about the Dells and to her grandmother’s credit, she did remember their one big hit – “Oh What a Night” www.youtube.com/watch?v=Z1ozQT8yQXA. The Dells were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. Maggie still hasn’t heard the song.
