John Edward Lee was Mason who was a goat handler in Iowa who tragically died in the Vietnam War. His mother, Eunice was a pro roller derby skater from Des Moines, Iowa (we have her handwriting font coming up). She financially supported the development of this font in honor of her son. Popular belief has often identified Masonic initiation with the riding of a goat. Way more deep info than I need! Let’s just honor John’s memory with a look at his bold, upfront font.
