This font was inspired by the handwriting of Lenny Small of “Of Mice and Men”. Many would expect Lenny to be illiterate, but George “learned” him to write. Since Lenny left very few handwriting examples, his minimal vocabulary resulted in very little that could be added to our understanding of the man. Loyal, “in the moment”, caring and innocent are all words that describe the man and the resulting font. However, it was difficult to develop a complete font when the primary handwriting examples came from the word “rabbits” printed over and over and over again.
