vLetter Mik Font — FREE!
This is the handwriting of Mik Gleason, the brother-in-law of Arturo V. (one of our font designers). Mik is from Glasgow, Scotland and was not necessarily welcomed into Arturo’s old Italian family. Against the family’s wishes, Arturo’s sister Tiziana married Mik. The only way her father would give his blessing was to have Tiziana and Mik live with he and his wife for three years so they could get to know Mik. This font was one of the wedding gifts Arturo gave the couple. After four months, Mik is hanging in there and learning to speak Italian and take care of farm animals. Mik uses this font to write letters to his mother back in Glasgow, who still hasn’t forgiven him for agreeing to the arrangement. Ah, love!
