vLetter Painter Font — FREE!
What a great informal font! Real style and artistry here. This is the handwriting of James Abbott McNeill Whistler, American artist most famous for “Arrangement in Grey and Black No.1”, better known as “Whistler’s Mother”. Seems a model didn’t show up for a sitting and James asked his mother to take her place. After a few sessions with his elderly mother standing and becoming fatigued, he had her sit and the rest is history. If it’s such an iconic American painting, why the heck is it owned by the French government and on display at the Musée d’Orsay in Paris?
