vLetter Phyllis Font — FREE!
This is the handwriting of Phyllis O., the mother of one of our font designers. Phyllis was the first female electrician in Edison, NJ. As a young woman, she felt grounded in her job as subway conductor but didn’t know watt she wanted to do next. She had a battery of vocational interest tests run and the results were relayed to her that electrician would be a good choice. She felt a surge of power in her training and although she met resistance from men who tried to breaker, she insulated herself from the hertz and amped up her effort. This induced her to leave ohm and gradually phase out of her conductor job.
