vLetter Renee Font — FREE!

font image

This handwriting font was inspired by Renee Fladen, the subject of the Left Banke song of the mid ’60’s – “Walk Away Renee”. The song was written by Mike Brown (Michael David Lookofsky) when he was 16 after he met his band member’s then girlfriend Renee Fladen. The song is a wistful, poignant look at young, unrequited love. Brown’s death on March 19, 2015 at age 65 prompted the development of this font. The development was supported by the surviving original members of The Four Tops, who recorded the song in 1968.
