Richie Rich was a friend of Little Dot in 50’s comics. Richie was the only child of fantastically wealthy parents and was the world’s richest kid. Alfred Harvey, one of the creators of Richie Rich was the grandfather of Sarah, one of our font designers. Sarah wanted to honor her grandfather’s memory by creating a font inspired by Richie Rich. Beautiful font! You’ll notice the well crafted “$” character, the affluent “A”, the pecunious “P”, the well-heeled “W”, they moneyed “M”, the loaded “L” and the opulent “O”. OK, I’m done.
