vLetter Saxon Font — FREE!
This is the handwriting font of Lee “Anglo” Saxon, professional wrestler from Indianapolis, Indiana. Indianapolis native David Letterman would later name his television show’s band The World’s Most Dangerous Band as a derivation of Saxon’s nickname, “The World’s Most Dangerous Wrestler.” On November 23rd, 1973, fresh from her victory over Bobby Riggs, Billy Jean King wrestled Anglo in Detroit, MIchigan in front of a crowd of 200,000.
Unfortunately, Anglo lost in 7 rounds and retired soon after. The development of this font was financially supported by the Anglo Saxon fan club of Indianapolis, still active after all these years.
