This is a the handwriting of San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Terrell Owens, who helped make Sharpie Pens famous. During an NFL game against the Seattle Seahawks on October 14, 2002, he pulled a black Sharpie marker out of his sock to sign the football he caught to score a touchdown. It has commonly been referred to by sports fans as “The Sharpie Incident” or “The Sharpie Touchdown”. Needless to say, the NFL was not amused. No more “Sharpie Touchdowns” for any players. Only Terrell’s handwriting font lives on!
