vLetter Squid Font — FREE!
This handwriting font was developed from a few simple handwriting print samples from Squiggy the Squid, who is a guest at the Monterey Bay Aquarium. Dr. Janice Hornblower, head of Cephalopod Studies at the Monterey Bay Aquarium has been studying the intelligence of squids. Squiggy is a Humboldt Squid, considered to be among the most intelligent of all cephalopods. Dr. Hornblower submitted some handwriting samples that she claims were the result of her extensive program to teach Squiggy to communicate with the written word. Her work is currently under peer review, so we’ll see……….seems kind of fishy to us (I know, a squid is not a fish)!
