This is the handwriting of Sperry Swift who lives near Sneaker, Lake, MN. He worked for Converse Data Products in Minneapolis. His bosses thought he was a loafer, but he just didn’t want to toe the corporate line and finally got the boot. In his sole, he knew he wanted to be in shoe repair. He pumped up his resume a bit (although it made him feel like a heel) and was hired into an apprenticeship. He now owns the highly successful Swift Shoe Repair in Taconite Harbor, MN. Good use of his surname in his business name!
