Pali has been an ambulance driver in New York for 23 years and has seen it all. One time he was called to a high-rise in Manhattan for what was described as a top-level emergency. Pali and partner found themselves at the marriage ceremony of some very wealthy New Yorkers, who had lost the highest tier of their wedding cake off their balcony where it fell 15 stories to the sidewalk. The couple had hoped the ambulance drivers could save the cake.
