This font was designed by Trevor A., one our font designers who also designed Butch. It’s a long story, but while in Bolivia doing research for the Butch font, Trevor was attacked and his jaw broken by his assailant. While in a hospital in La Paz with his jaw wired shut, Trevor used samples of his doctor’s handwriting to create this font. It took the entire two weeks he was hospitalized to find enough legible characters of his doctor’s handwriting to create Belt!
