This is the handwriting of Tibia Squelette of Big Bone, Kentucky. Who would name a child Tibia? Well, Tibia’s father was the only orthopedist in Boone County and had already fathered 11 children. So, go figure. Kids used to rib him abut his name, but he figured he had a leg up on them and didn’t kneed their approval. It kind of spurred him on. So, in the summer of ’54, he went out on a limb and joint a group with a singer by the name of Presley from nearby Memphis, Tennessee. He soon became a hip part of the band featuring “Elvis-the-Pelvis”.
