Rosita “Hilary” Gomez was the first woman to win the Tulsa Corn Dog Classic. During this 5k run/walk, participants must finish a corn dog, a lemonade, and cotton candy. Of course when Hilary wrapped up the race she yelled “hot dog!” because she was so happy she was able to mustard up the courage to complete the competition. “I relished the idea of competing in this race,” said Hilary with her hair in a traditional bun. “For a while there I lagged behind, but fortunately I was finally able to ketchup.”
