vLetter Note Font — FREE!
What a great font! This font was designed by Catskill McMurtry, one of our font designers. He was inspired by the print from a old typewriter his grandfather Nate had given him. That typewriter is responsible for Catskill’s interest in fonts. Catskill named this font “Note” in honor of his grandfather, who played piano for the First Baptist Church of Sevierville in Sevierville, Tennessee. Next time you’re in Sevierville, the church is just off Forks of the River Parkway (SR 64). Go east on Prince St., take a left on North Parkway and you’re there. Unfortunately, Nate has long passed away, but the piano is still there – playing notes most every day.
