Erica is a beautiful cursive font that evokes femininity and grace. It is the handwriting font of Erica Feldstein of Yemassee, South Carolina, the world’s foremost expert on sea cucumbers (definitely not feminine). Highly coveted in many Asian markets, it is used in gourmet stews and soups. Erica has recently been involved in helping the Mexican government develop sea cucumber harvesting guidelines on the Yucatan peninsula. As of 2013 there was a thriving black market in sea cucumbers driven by demand in China where a pound might sell for $300. We developed this font from samples from her lab notebooks.
