vLetter Patterson Font — FREE!
This handwriting font celebrates the town of Patterson, Arkansas. Seems our font designer Trevor A.’s mother is from Patterson. A nearby ghost town, Cow Mound is featured in many of the local legends. Sounds intriguing, but the truth is that “mounds” are numerous throughout the midwest part of the U.S. They are physical artifacts of the many Native American cultures who inhabited the area for centuries. The exact origin of “Cow Mound” is at best uncertain. Some say in the early 1800’s over a dozen cattle were found slaughtered atop the mound. Others say it was because the shape of the mound resembled a four legged animal. Either way, Cow Mound is a “ghost town” for a reason. Respect that.
